Our people
The people who'll know your child by name

Owners
Kelly & Brent Stokes
“We can't wait to meet you and be part of your child's growth and development.”
Kelly and Brent own and run Beach Kids, and their daughter Sloane is the reason it exists in the form it does. Being parents themselves is why they are committed to offering the best quality care and early education for your child.
Brent has nearly 20 years of experience in the early learning sector. He previously owned a boutique group of campuses and is a management committee member of the Australian Childcare Alliance, the peak body for the sector.
Family ownership is not a marketing line here. The people making the decisions about the rooms, the educators and the food are the same people you can meet at drop-off.

“Watching children develop confidence, independence and new skills every day is incredibly rewarding.”
I have been working in the early childhood education sector for 19 years. Over that time I have developed a strong passion for creating warm, supportive and engaging environments where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to grow and learn.
What I love most about working with children and families is building genuine relationships and being part of each child's unique learning journey. I also enjoy working closely with families to support each child's individual needs and interests.
My favourite thing about Beach Kids is the strong sense of community and the welcoming, family-oriented environment. I love the excursions and experiences we offer, especially Beach Kindy and Bush Kindy. They give children the chance to explore nature, build confidence, develop resilience and learn through hands-on experiences outdoors.

“Childcare is far more than supervising children. It is about creating places where children feel valued.”
I have been working in the childcare and early learning sector for the past 14 years, and in that time I have developed a genuine passion for supporting children through the most important stages of their early development.
One of the most rewarding parts of this work is the relationships and trust built over time. I love watching children reach important milestones, whether that is learning to communicate, building confidence, developing social skills, or becoming more independent in their everyday routines.
Every child brings something different, and being able to support their individual strengths, interests and abilities is what makes this work meaningful to me. I also value the partnerships we build with families, because working together creates a better environment for everyone.
Our educators
Qualified, supported and here for the long run
Every room is staffed by qualified educators working alongside trainees and support staff, with an early childhood teacher guiding the Preschool program. Educators hold current Working with Children Checks, first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
We fund study, mentor new educators and build rosters that keep familiar faces in the same rooms. It costs more. It's the reason children settle here.
Considering a career with us? We're always glad to hear from educators who want to work this way, get in touch through our contact page.

Meet them yourself
A tour is really an introduction. You'll meet the campus manager and the educators who would be with your child every day.
