Who you'll meet

Brittany Conroy, Campus Manager

Childcare is far more than supervising children. It is about creating places where children feel valued.

I have been working in the childcare and early learning sector for the past 14 years, and in that time I have developed a genuine passion for supporting children through the most important stages of their early development.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is the relationships and trust built over time. I love watching children reach important milestones, whether that is learning to communicate, building confidence, developing social skills, or becoming more independent in their everyday routines.

Every child brings something different, and being able to support their individual strengths, interests and abilities is what makes this work meaningful to me. I also value the partnerships we build with families, because working together creates a better environment for everyone.

The neighbourhood

An easy stop between Kingscliff and the highway

Waugh Street is off the Tweed Valley Way, which makes drop-off simple whether you are heading into Kingscliff, Tweed Heads or north over the border.

Chinderah families come from Kingscliff, Chinderah, Fingal Head, Banora Point, Tweed Heads South and Casuarina. For anyone commuting to the Gold Coast, we are on the right side of the river.

The campus backs onto the quiet end of the flats, so the walk to green space is short and the traffic noise stays out on the highway.

Chinderah questions

Asked and answered

Where is Beach Kids Chinderah?
Beach Kids Chinderah is at 11 Waugh Street, Chinderah NSW 2487, minutes from Kingscliff, Fingal Head, Banora Point and Tweed Heads South, and immediately off the Tweed Valley Way.
Is Chinderah the same program as Cabarita?
Same philosophy, same standards, same owners and the same chef-cooked food. The campus itself is different: a purpose-built building with its own outdoor yard, its own team and its own daily rhythm.
Who runs the Chinderah campus?
Brittany Conroy is the Campus Manager at Chinderah. Brittany has 14 years of experience in early learning and leads the educator team on site.
Do Chinderah children do Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder?
Yes. Chinderah children take part in the same signature outdoor programs, using the natural areas and waterfront close to the campus, in small supervised groups.
Is Beach Kids Chinderah convenient for Kingscliff families?
Yes. Chinderah sits just across the river flats from Kingscliff, so it is a short drive for Kingscliff and Casuarina families and an easy stop for anyone commuting north on the M1.
