Starting care
The first weeks, done at your child's pace

Before day one
How we prepare together
- 1
We learn your child
Sleep, food, comforters, words they use, what soothes them and what sets them off. The more you tell us, the smoother it goes.
- 2
Orientation visits
Short visits with you present, so your child meets their educators and explores the room while you're still there.
- 3
A shorter first day
Where possible, start with a half day. It's easier to build up than to recover from a long, overwhelming first session.
- 4
We stay in touch
Photos and messages through the day, and a phone call if your child is struggling. You will never be left wondering.
For parents
It's often harder on you than on them
Almost every parent cries in the car park at some point. It doesn't mean you've made the wrong decision, and it doesn't mean your child isn't happy two minutes after you leave, which, usually, they are.
Tell us what you need. Some families want a photo at 9.15 every morning for the first fortnight. That's completely fine.

Questions
Settling in questions
How many orientation visits will we get?
My child cries at drop-off. What should I do?
Can I call during the day?
How long does settling usually take?
Book a tour
The best way to know is to walk through the door
Tours run during the day so you can see the rooms as they really are, busy, calm, noisy, happy. Bring your child. Ask us anything.
