The rhythm
How the day unfolds

Arrival and settling
Unhurried greetings at the door, a moment with you, and time to find a familiar activity. Educators note anything you tell them about the night before.

Morning outdoors
Yards open early while it's cool, climbing, digging, water, bikes and the garden. Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder groups head out from here.

Morning tea from our kitchen
Fresh food prepared on site, eaten together at the table. Children serve themselves and clear their own plates.

Focused learning time
Small group and individual work: projects, literacy and numeracy play, the art studio, and intentional teaching around what children are exploring.

Lunch and rest
A cooked lunch, then rest or quiet time. Children who don't sleep have calm activities rather than lying still.

Afternoon play and handover
Afternoon tea, more outdoor time, and a real conversation at pick-up about how the day actually went.

What to bring
Less than you'd expect
Meals, nappies, sunscreen and a hat are provided. You'll need a spare set of clothes (or two for toddlers), a bottle or comforter if your child uses one, and clothes that are allowed to get ruined.
Paint, sand, mud and water are all part of a good day here. Please don't send anything you'd be sad to see stained.
