Every Beach Kids program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, but what you'll actually see is children following an interest until they've worn it out, and educators who know when to add the next layer.

Find your child's room
Children move up when they're ready, not on their birthday. Transitions are gradual and always with a familiar educator.
Toddlers
Movement, language and the beginning of independence, plus the patience that toddlers deserve.
Preschool
Our NSW approved Preschool program in the year before school, delivered by degree-qualified teachers.
Signature
Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder
What makes Beach Kids different isn't a curriculum document. It's that children regularly leave the building, into the bush, down to the water, in small groups with educators who know them well.
Uneven ground teaches balance. Cold water teaches judgement. A group of children working out how to move a log teaches more negotiation than any worksheet.

The framework
How we plan, observe and document
Our programs are built on the national Early Years Learning Framework and assessed under the National Quality Standard. In practice, that means educators observe what children are drawn to, plan intentionally around it, and record the learning so you can see it.
You'll get photos, observations and stories through your child's digital portfolio, and a real conversation at pick-up. If your child spent forty minutes trying to get a crab back into a rock pool, you'll hear about it.
