Beach Kids is a child safe organisation. That means children's safety and wellbeing sit above convenience, reputation and routine, and we can show you how.

What's in place, every day
Ongoing training
Child protection, first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training kept current, with regular refreshers and scenario practice.
Secure campuses
Controlled entry, signed-in visitors, authorised collection only, and regular headcounts at every transition.
Documented risk assessment
Every excursion, water experience and new setting is assessed before children go anywhere near it.
Children's voices heard
Children are taught body autonomy and safe adults, and are supported to speak up in age-appropriate ways.
Clear reporting lines
Educators know exactly what to do with a concern, and we report to the relevant authorities where required.
Health and wellbeing
Sun, water, allergies and illness
Hats and sunscreen are non-negotiable, and shade is designed into both yards. Any water experience is directly supervised and risk assessed for the age group.
Allergies and dietary needs are managed with our chefs and displayed where meals are prepared and served, and medical management plans are followed to the letter.
We ask families to keep unwell children home, and we'll always call you early rather than late if your child isn't themselves.

Safety questions families ask
Who can collect my child?
Only the people you have authorised on your enrolment record. Educators check identification for anyone they don't recognise, and we will always call you if there is any doubt.
How do you keep the building secure?
Entry is controlled, visitors are signed in and accompanied, and children are counted and recorded at regular intervals through the day and at every transition.
How are excursions kept safe?
Every outing has a documented risk assessment covering the route, the site, the weather and the group, with maintained or improved ratios, first aid kits, mobile communication and prior family permission.
What training do educators have?
All educators hold current Working with Children Checks, child protection training and first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, refreshed on schedule.
What if I have a concern?
Raise it with your room team or the campus manager, and if you'd rather go higher, the owners are contactable directly. Concerns about a child's safety are acted on immediately and reported to the relevant authorities where required.
