The beginning
Two campuses, one family
Brent has spent nearly twenty years in early learning. He previously owned a boutique group of campuses and sits on the management committee of the Australian Childcare Alliance, the peak body for the sector. Kelly brings the parent's eye, the questions you ask when it's your own child walking through the door.
Together they run two campuses on the Tweed Coast: Cabarita, on Hastings Road at Bogangar, and Chinderah, on Waugh Street near Kingscliff. Two is deliberate. It's enough to share expertise, chefs and outdoor programs, and small enough that the owners know the children by name.
Family ownership isn't a marketing line here. The people making decisions about your child's room are the same people you can stop and talk to at pick-up.

This place
A childhood that belongs to the Tweed
Growing up here should mean something. Our children know the estuary and the headland, the birds that come through in spring, the difference between a calm morning and a big swell.
So we built the program around it. Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder take children into the landscape regularly, and we work with local people and organisations who care about the same coast.

We look after the educators who look after your child
Early childhood has a retention problem, and children pay for it in goodbyes. We take the opposite approach: invest in our educators, support their study, keep the teams stable and treat the job as a career.
