Beach Kids Early Learning & Preschool

Preschool

An approved Preschool program, inside a day that suits working families

Your child gets a genuine teacher-led Preschool program in the year before school, at the same campus, with the same educators, across the hours you actually need.

What it is

Preschool without the drop-off scramble

Plenty of families end up juggling a standalone preschool with short hours and a separate care arrangement either side of it. At Beach Kids, the Preschool program runs inside the day. One campus, one team, one drop-off.

The program is intentional. Educators plan around the Early Years Learning Framework outcomes, document each child's progress, and build in the literacy, numeracy and self-regulation groundwork that Kindergarten expects, through play, projects and conversation rather than worksheets.

Teaching

Led by an early childhood teacher

The Preschool program is guided by a degree-qualified early childhood teacher working alongside the room's educators. They plan the program, observe individual progress and adjust for children who need extension or extra support.

If your child needs additional support, we'd rather talk about it early and work with you and any specialists involved than wait for school to raise it.

Preschool questions

What families ask

Is Beach Kids an approved Preschool?
Yes. Beach Kids delivers an approved Preschool program at both campuses in the year before school, led by an early childhood teacher and assessed under the National Quality Framework.
What is the difference between Preschool and long day care?
At Beach Kids they are not separate places. Your child attends the same campus with the same educators, and the Preschool program runs within the day. That means preschool-quality teaching with the hours working families actually need.
When should my child start Preschool?
Most children attend a Preschool program in the year before they start Kindergarten. Because places fill early, families often join the waitlist a year or more ahead.
Is Preschool funded in NSW?
Preschool programs in NSW can attract Start Strong funding, which reduces fees for eligible children. How this applies to your family at Beach Kids: [CONFIRM WITH BEACH KIDS].
