The process

How enrolling works

  1. 1

    Book a tour

Come and see the campus during the day, meet the manager and the educators, and ask everything you want to ask.

  2. 2

    Join the waitlist

Tell us your preferred days and start date. There is no cost and no obligation to join.

  3. 3

    We offer a place

When a place matching your days opens, we contact you. If only some days are available, we'll say so plainly.

  4. 4

    Complete your enrolment

Enrolment forms, immunisation records, CRNs, emergency contacts and any medical plans.

  5. 5

    Confirm CCS in myGov

We submit your enrolment, you confirm it through Centrelink, and your subsidy applies from your start date.

  6. 6

    Orientation and first day

Short visits with you present, then a first day paced to suit your child rather than the calendar.

Availability

Which days are hardest to get

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fill first at both campuses, and nursery places are always the scarcest. Families wanting a specific combination often start on the days available and adjust as places open.

If your preferred campus is full, ask about the other one. Cabarita and Chinderah are a short drive apart and share the same programs and standards.

Questions

Enrolment questions

How far ahead should I enrol?
As early as you can. Nursery and Preschool places are the tightest, and many families join the waitlist during pregnancy or a year before the Preschool year.
Is there a waitlist fee?
No. Joining the Beach Kids waitlist costs nothing and does not commit you to a place.
Can I change my days later?
Yes, subject to availability. Talk to your campus manager as early as possible, permanent day changes depend on room capacity and ratios.
What do I need to provide?
Your child's birth certificate, immunisation history statement, CRNs for you and your child, emergency contacts and any medical management plans.

Start with a tour

Tours take about 30 minutes. Bring your child, seeing how they respond to the space tells you more than we ever could.
